2012 SALE DATE: FRIDAY 23RD MARCH

 Simmental is a European breed of cattle which are spread across most of Europe. Fleckvieh being the German and Austrian strains of Simmental which were the main Simmental cattle originally introduced into Australia because of their softer, earlier maturing type which were more suited to our commercial conditions.

Today, the breed has spread around the world and is now the most numerous Bos Taurus breed worldwide.

Through crossbreeding with these easier doing type Simmental and Fleckvieh cattle, today’s commercial cattleman can gain the advantages of hybrid vigour, the natural growth promotant, getting more weight in less time, thereby putting more dollars in their pockets.

We will continue to present what we believe to be the best genetics available for today’s industry, something we have always tried to do.

On offer this year will be 49 bulls and 34 females, poll and horned. They are of a type that will produce prime beef for today’s cattleman.
